Did you know that members of the Chicago Cultural Center provide essential support that helps bring free, quality artistic programming to the entire city? The Chicago Cultural Center has long had art at its core and continues today to be a central venue for artists to develop and present their talents for all of us to experience. Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, 1,000 programs are offered each year to more than 875,000 visitors. From the traditional to the avant-garde,admission–FREE music, dance, theater, film, lectures, exhibitions and tours are offered seven days a week, year-round. Within the renowned decorative interiors of this landmark building, the arts have truly flourished, enhancing the artistic, intellectual and cultural life of this great city.

With a national and international reputation as an important cultural institution, this treasurehouse of the arts is a symbol of the City’s commitment to cultural enrichment, community engagement and access to the arts for all people.
